ABOUT THE STUDY
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
- Upon project commencement in late 2003, the consultants established project administration and coordination protocols. Activities include:
- On a weekly basis, the consultants coordinate and review project activities and issues with representatives of the FAA, Massport, and CAC.
- The managers of the two consultant teams confer on a regular basis to ensure timely and efficient project efforts.
Eleven meetings with BOS/TAC have been held at key junctures in the project timeline.

- Periodic meetings with CAC have been held for the purpose of discussing project issues.
- BOS/TAC has taken two opportunities to re-assess the scope of work and make any necessary adjustments to project efforts.
PUBLIC OUTREACH
At the onset of the project, the FAA sent a letter to 90 communities located within the study influence area describing the study, its purpose, and how interested communities could monitor the study progress and participate by joining CAC. The CAC is currently composed of 29 communities located throughout the Boston area.
